JS best-practises have changed over the years since we first started AB, and many projects are now standardising on webpack for building js assets.

We're also moving towards webpack in other *brainz projects, (MusicBrainz, BookBrainz, CritiqueBrainz), so we should standardise.

We should try and reuse as much work as possible from other projects.
