      Hey mr_monkey ,
I noticed that the full "BookBrainz" logo is missing specifically on the Home Page. Instead of the full logo, only the logo icon appears in the top-left corner. However, on other pages (e.g., the Collections page), the full logo is displayed correctly.

I'm unsure if this is an intentional UI design choice or a bug. If it's a bug, I’d be happy to work on fixing it. Could you please confirm whether this behavior is expected or if it needs correction?

[BB-842] Full Logo Missing on Home Page

aerozol Totally fair! Thanks for your thoughts 😊
If mr_monkey happy with it as-is, I’m good too. I really appreciate the feedback you provide!

It is up to mr_monkey to make the decision

I think I like it how it is on the homepage (sorry, I know you've already done work on this)

aerozol That makes sense! However, I wonder if having the full "BookBrainz" logo in the menu(top-left corner) on the Home Page, like on other pages, might still be beneficial. A few possible advantages could be:

          1. Aesthetic Balance – Depending on the layout, the top-left corner might appear unbalanced with just the icon.

          2. Accessibility & Clarity – If users scroll to the bottom, the large Home Page logo might no longer be visible, making the full logo in the menu more useful for recognition.

          3. Brand Consistency – Keeping the logo uniform across all pages can strengthen brand identity and recognition.

          4. User Familiarity – Users navigating from other pages might expect to see the same logo placement and design.

Would it be worth considering, or do you think the current design is more effective as is? Happy to explore this further if needed!

My impression is that this may have been on purpose - as the big "bookbrainz" is displayed in the middle of the page (but not on other pages, where the full logo is in the menu)
