Viola braguesa is a stringed instrument originally from Braga, in northwestern Portugal.

Note that this is not an instrument in the violin family, it's a guitar.

This actually is quite a popular instrument in Portuguese folk music (and folk-pop, folk-rock, etc.) Probably first made nationally known by Júlio Pereira on his 1983 album (https://musicbrainz.org/release-group/9f8b6252-0ff0-3ed3-97ec-b6c7726386ac), and later made popular in modern folk by B Fachada in his 2008 album (https://musicbrainz.org/release-group/fcb16622-1daf-476b-bec6-a5123c79c7b4).

I'm creating this ticket after noticing it was missing when trying to instrument relationships to https://musicbrainz.org/release/a6a21e75-325e-4341-b218-9f9fe2094598/
