HakGediya is a sri Lankan ceremonial horn manufactured by a conch shell. It is used to perform the dramatic end of many Buddhist rituals. Hakgediya is known to be a very loud instrument which can be blown softly or loudly.To use this instrument, the player must have a brilliant lung capacity and a lot of energy.
