I had just accidentally deleted a listen when trying to link recordings. It's easy to accidentally hit the wrong entry in the context menu and accidentally delete a listen. Furthermore in my case the listen was directly gone so I couldn't see what it was (I probably hit that at the right time for the deletion request to happen, it was around the full hour).
I don't think there should be a conformation prompt before removing a listen. That would quickly be annoying when removing multiple listens, and we are not dealing with that important data here. But instead I propose it should be possible to undo deletion.
My ideal idea of an implementation would be:
- Directly after deleting a listen the "Listen has been deleted" notification should offer an "undo" action
- A deleted listen always stays in marked for deletion state for a few minutes (so it does not get purged too early).
- Deleted listens are indicated as such in the list (LB-1141)
- The context menu for a deleted listen allows undoing the deletion
