We've also been getting a lot of inquiries about the process we use to choose a piece of cover art for a listen or a playlist item. And to make things more complicated we use different algorithms in different places (for good reason). However, this is hard for our users to follow, so we should write a guide that:

1. Gives an introduction to cover art and why this is a tricky task to get right.
2. Describes the process that leads us to choose a piece of cover art generally.
3. Describes the places where we deviate from this process and what we do instead.
