IIRC there was a PR or ticket which requested exactly the opposite, but this is annoying in 90% of my use cases at least.

I am often listening to a couple of physical releases, often with multiple sides and I am taking notes when I started listening. When I finally want to submit these via the website, I have to reopen the "Add listens" modal multiple times and type in the whole custom timestamp again (when only the minutes have to be changed in most cases) and select the same release again (when it has multiple sides).

Given that it is much more annoying having to repeat a dozen clicks multiple times to restore the modal state, I think it is not too much to ask users with the opposite use case to do one additional click to close the modal. (At least for the "Add album" workflow, which doesn't have a queue feature and where keeping the modal open is much more useful.)
