The most recent listens on my account are from 10 months ago. I have scrobbles as recent as yesterday, but I've tried several times to update with the Import bookmarklet (always make sure it's the current one), and it never seems to do anything. I don't even get a pop up. It's possible I have some plugin that's interfering. I've tried disabling adblock and "disable html5 autoplay" plugins, but that hasn't seemed to make a difference. I typically use Chrome. I can't even figure out how to make it work with Edge right now, or I'd test that too.

[LB-186] Importer not working for me

This is fixed for us. No other users have reported problems either, so closing.

Ok, so I've tried the importer on beta.listenbrainz.org twice, got the import pop up and left it open overnight in both cases... still says Listen Count: 0

This time it's working on Edge, though. I'll investigate further as to why it won't work on Chrome.

Update: Not definitively sure yet, but seems like adblock is the problem.

awesome, thanks. if I go to listenbrainz.org, I still just find the instructions for the bookmarklet. I guess that's going to change soon?

The bookmarklet based importer is an old version of the software we've stopped using with the new version of LB (https://beta.listenbrainz.org), so I don't think this is going to be fixed. It would be better if you tried out the beta, we plan to release it with an entirely clean db soon.

It seems impossible to add the bookmarklet directly in Edge (couldn't drag to bookmark bar, couldn't edit bookmarks, couldn't find bookmarks on drive even after looking in the app data location various sites pointed me to). I finally got it, maybe, by importing from Chrome.

I also tried with IE. I had no more luck with IE or Edge than with Chrome. If there is something on my system blocking it, it's not a browser extension. (I'm going to the library page as instructed, but tried my main profile page, too, for good measure.) My antivirus is just Windows Defender, so I don't think that's the problem, either.
