Currently, the UI for albums on an artist's page in Listenbrainz has the albums sequentially by release date starting from the left and going right as you would expect. The exception to this is when there are multiple rows. If a second (or more) row is added, the order then becomes top to bottom, then to the right. If matching traditional western reading styles, it should be left to right, then down as needed.
