Currently, the listens page uses a textual timestamp representation ("4 minutes ago", "an hour ago", etc.), with the full ISO timestamp shown on hover.

This is fine for moderately-recent listens. However, past the "one year ago" mark it becomes a bit useless - dropping the granularity to years ("5 years ago") loses a lot of meaning, and sticking to months ("60 months ago") does not make them easy to grok either.

I would suggest that once past the "a year ago" mark, it should flip to "Month Year" instead, so "May 2014" instead of "6 years ago".

*: but I don't know how that full-timestamp-on-hover translates to accessibility with things like screen readers
