      It would be great to make it easier for users (i.e. people who want to contribute listens / track their listening) to find applications and addons that have integrated ListenBrainz scrobbling.

      Currently, a list is available in "Contribute > API docs", which I suspect would never be reached by someone simply looking to scrobble to LB.

      Some others could also be added to the list:

      It could be a page titled something like "Scrobble to ListenBrainz", or "Track my listening", and have several sections:

      • Scrobble your listens: the more user-friendly options at the top (i.e. apps and addons not directed at developers, really just to get music listeners to submit data by simply entering their key into the software);
      • For advanced users: possibly other more hacky options / API usages (that can submit data).

      It could also be titled with a more generic "Contribute my data", and could therefore also integrate the import options (like LastFM), which would make the website simpler by making other pages redundant:

      Spotify might be more difficult to classify between "Scrobbling" and "Importing", as it does both? Or am I getting this wrong?

      The page should be linked in the top menu bar of the website, instead of inside the user dropdown, so it is also visible to people who don't have an account just yet. (With a disclaimer at the top saying something like "To contribute your listens to ListenBrainz, you will fist need an account: <link to create one>")

      In a nutshell, these changes could:

      • Reduce the difficulty to set up scrobbling for newcomers
      • Attract more data
      • Simplify the website

      (Side note: the current "Contribute > Data" menu item is probably confusing to many who look for ways to actually contribute data, not downloading it.)
