When an area is used on artists or whatnot and you try to remove it, you get "This area cannot be removed because there are still artists, labels, and/or releases using it."

Whatever check is doing that does not check for places, so if the area is used only in places, the edit will be allowed. Once it tries to apply, it will break, since the area can't be removed at the database level.
