Case 1:

Multiple recordings were grayed out and the tooltip said: "This entity has been removed, and cannot be displayed correctly."
The recordings table was missing as well.

After the edit applied the recordings table showed up and recordings in new tracklist were also linked now.

Furthermore the raw edit data changed. Before it looked like the same recordings were being used for the new tracklist but after the edit applied these too changed

Case 2:

It looked like only some track numbers were reformatted but after approving the grayed out recordings for track 18 changed and the track title too.
