The way we dump the JSON data is not entirely obvious and yields a pile of questions from people trying to use it. In particular we need to explain why the recordings dump has so few items in it. On the surface of this it looks like our dumps are incomplete.

It would be good to have a page that breaks down what is in each file and how the layers of our schema map to the various files.
