The description text for open edits is misleading. It says:
This edit is open and awaiting votes before it can be applied.
Unsuspecting users could interpret it as if votes are needed.
Only if you read until the acceptance conditions it gets more clearer that votes are in fact not required:
If no votes cast: Accept upon closing
I'd change it to something like:
- "This edit is open and may be voted upon by others or cancelled by the editor" (Maybe too complex)
- "This edit is open for voting." (Maybe too simple)
