This became an issue after marlonob introduced their digital release seeder, which provides a list of complementary links after a user imports a release with it. Every time a Various Artists release is imported via this seeder, a set of links for "Various Artists" always appears. Multiple attempts have been made to add these links to the Various Artists entity through roundabout means (creating or appropriating an artist, adding the links to it, and finally merging the artist with the links into Various Artists), all to no avail. It appears whatever parameters are set for SPAs prevent links from being added to them. This is useful to prevent spam, but it also creates the problem above.
