Every now and then editors rage quit. Some do quite loudly by casting a large amount of No votes as retaliation. Unless other voters step in affected edits are in danger of failing.

Since pending edits are already cancelled upon deletion of a user account so should probably their Yes and No votes on open edits by others changed to Abstain.

This could also help to quickly neutralize votes by sockpuppets, be they Yes votes or, when dealing with more nefarious attacks like untargeted mass No vote bombing.
