As explained in MBS-2714, "the ordering_attribute column references an id in link_text_attribute_type, indicating where to find the item number of each relationship."

We don't use this at all and have no plans to, so it should be removed. (All series use the same "number" attribute to order items. See SEARCH-644 for some more historical information.)
