One of our supporters has requested the ability to uniquely identify specific aliases of entities (mostly artists), rather than only the entities themselves. There seems to be no reason why this wouldn't be relatively simple.

I would expect this to be implemented by just adding a gid column to ($entity)_alias tables (UUID NOT NULL). The MBID would probably kinda work like a track MBID (link to the entity's alias page with the appropriate alias highlighted in some way, but be easily available via the WS).

One issue: I expect (but need to confirm) that they would want the ID to change if the alias name changes (not sure about the other bits of the alias such as type).
