Many edit types no longer go to voting, so fewer entities are being highlighted for open edits. Some editors use the "open edits" highlighting to know they should go review edits on that entity they are familiar with. I think it would be helpful to highlight entities that have recently had edits automatically applied on them, similar to how open edits cause the entity to be highlighted.
