Currently they are sorted alphabetically. That's fine in itself but user tags (if public) similar to ratings can signal one's interests. (a tag cloud can highlight those too: MBS-11763 )

Sorting by least usage count could help oneself to find out which tags might need attention (is it still relevant or should it be used more often, maybe there's a typo and that's why its count is so low?)
