Since MBS-11698, the error messages about external links can be more specific and target the URL field, or the relationship type field, or both fields (e.g. when the URL is valid but no relationship type is available for the current entity type).

However, this feature is unevenly implemented in the 100+ validation functions.
There should be tests for errors too, using a new expected_error for example.
