In prod, trying to navigate away from the (release) relationship editor tab while changes are pending will give an "Are you sure? Changes you made might not be saved" alert when you try to close the tab. In beta, this no longer happens and it will happily lose all your work (the same is true when you navigate via a non-target-blank link, such as per MBS-12598).
