Guess Case English turns "da" into "Da". Often, this is a colloquial/slang way to say "the", which is written in lowercase, so "da" in this case should be written in lowercase, too.
Example: "In da Hood".
Similar words:
"Ready fi War", "Dub fe Dub" fi (sometimes "fe"): Jamaican for "for"
"Bun Down di System" di: Jamaican for "the"
"Super Ape inna Jungle" inna (sometimes "ina"): Jamaican for "in the"
I've found "da" enough times in this context to be able to assure it is not a minor, weird issue.
