This ticket tracks two (probably connected) issues that are present in Beta, in the release editor > tracklist editing tab.

1. When I click the search/magnifying glass icon next to an artist name it no longer searches, it just brings up the 'Recent' list. I have to delete a character or type a character to get the search to run.

2. Clicking 'Edit' and then search works. But creating a new artist from the edit popup window fails to close the edit popup, which remains on top of the new artist editor popup. Closing the edit popup manually will lead to errors when trying to open it again.
