Beta: MBID lookups in artist credit editor are significantly slower (or fail)

      I've noticed that pasting a URL or the MBID alone (e.g., "https://beta.musicbrainz.org/artist/6bb5b751-40aa-40f2-a803-f9abf1530df3" or "6bb5b751-40aa-40f2-a803-f9abf1530df3") in the artist credit editor results in... nothing happening.  This was not the normal behavior a month ago, when MBID lookups were generally instantaneous.
