I'd like to link https://www.45cat.com/cdalbum/cd/b000066302 to MusicBrainz.

When I try to add it to release https://musicbrainz.org/release/ea4a9349-2df3-4bdc-bcbf-2e8914d56be2, the URL is truncated to https://www.45cat.com/cdalbum/cd, and I get the error message "This URL is not allowed for the selected link type." The selected link type in this case is "other databases," and no other link type is available from the dropdown.

When I try to add it to release group https://musicbrainz.org/release-group/d3212713-dbcf-4ef1-b331-48ac01a8ef73, I get the error message "This URL is not allowed for release groups." I haven't taken the time to digest and fully understand the discussion at MBS-10502 and STYLE-1347, so I'm not sure whether that error message is intended behavior or the opposite of intended behavior.
