Our GDPR lawyers have suggested to us that a good way to reach a compromise with people who want their data taken down (when we have a right to keep it but we want to play nice with them as well and not just say no to everything) is to allow setting noindex on specific entity pages. This should block the main search engines from indexing them, giving them a bit more of a right to privacy, while still having the data as part of the MusicBrainz database.
