Following the EU sanctions, Russian social network VKontakte (VK) announced switching its default domain from vk.com to vk.ru. All existing vk.com links are automatically redirecting to their vk.ru counterparts.

MusicBrainz currently has URL cleanup only for the vk.com links, not vk.ru ones.
