It would be very convenient if you could optionally add (multiple) aliases at the same time as adding a new artist; as some sort of batch edit (like using the release editor, I guess).
The use case is a common one when adding individuals credited for roles such as engineering etc; or real names which typically are credited with many minor variations.
When adding "Mike Elizondo" for example, I would typically add aliases for "M. Elizondo", "Michael Elizondo Jr.", "Mike Elazondo", "Mike "La Bomba" Elizondo" etc; or other aliases as found on Discogs or relevant to that artist's name.
Currently it's slow having to do these separately; one often currently has to add many artists when adding full ARs for a release, so this would speed up the process of doing this.
Each alias edit could be entered separately and be voted individually, no need for them to be done together inside the artist edit.
