When adding edit notes with non-ascii non-latin-1 stuff, I get:
Caught exception in MusicBrainz::Server::Controller::Edit->add_note "Wide character in subroutine entry at /usr/local/share/perl/5.8.8/Email/MIME/Encodings.pm line 47."
and I don't receive any email for those notes.

When adding edit notes with latin-1 stuff, I don't get any errors, but the characters don't survive the email, e.g. adding a note as âêîôû gives ����� both if it's the username and if it's note text.
