      .jpg is lossy (not very good for pixelly images like the sort you can get from 8bitpeoples) and doesn't support animations (which I'm sure some digital releases will have).

      (Not a duplicate of MBS-4023 as that ticket will be solved by preventing anything except supported formats, currently only .jpg)
