As a result of the changes to Recordings made in May, there's a need to a better way to represent mastering information for tracks/releases. (See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Master_recording) The current system of adding detailed mastering information in release annotations is too long-winded and isn't really adequate.

The solution to this, which many people want implemented is a new entity for masters.

Some discussion is needed to decide whether this entity should group tracks (ie. track is a mastered recording) or releases (release is a mastered set of recordings) - how it should fit in with the existing schema.
