If you click Add work from http://musicbrainz.org/artist/7831dd7e-394d-4e57-97b2-7208a2ab2ea8 you get http://beta.musicbrainz.org/work/create?artist=7831dd7e-394d-4e57-97b2-7208a2ab2ea8 - but the parameter does nothing at all. I assume it's a remnant of the time works were supposed to have a work artist, but maybe we should get rid of it.
