Right now you can enter a release dated in the 1930s with a cd medium. That shouldn't be possible. It would be helpful if there were a check in the release editor to warn editors that they are about to add a release with a medium that hasn't been introduced yet (with an error message in the edit note tab).

• the compact disc was introduced on 17 August 1982 ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Compact_disc#First_Red_Book_CDs_and_players )
• vinyl was introduced in 1931: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gramophone_record#78_rpm_materials
• shellac was introduced in 895: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gramophone_record#78_rpm_materials
