When adding a CD TOC and searching by artist (e.g. https://musicbrainz.org/cdtoc/attach?toc=1+7+305695+150+20588+40557+57007+70373+80929+101393&filter-artist.query=Christian+Dittmann&artist=428139 – don’t add, example only, taken from MBS-3450), mediums with a non-TOC type such as Digital or Vinyl aren’t shown. This confuses users. It is also different from searching by release title (e.g. https://musicbrainz.org/cdtoc/attach?toc=1+7+305695+150+20588+40557+57007+70373+80929+101393&filter-release.query=Emporio – same caveat as above), where non-TOC-type mediums are shown (but can’t be selected – whether this way to mark unsuitable mediums is sufficiently obvious is a different issue, MBS-7409).
