As I was explaining in STYLE-801, the "itunes.apple.com" domain is not only used to preview releases available for purchase on iTunes, it is also used to preview releases available only for streaming on Apple Music.
UPDATE: "itunes.apple.com" album links automatically redirect to "music.apple.com". For releases, there ought not to be any autoselect because most content is available for streaming as well as download via the iTunes Store. Releases that are available for both will have a clickable link that reads "Also available in the iTunes Store" that opens a corresponding page in the iTunes client on Windows (or Macs running macOS Mojave or earlier) or the Music app on Macs running macOS Catalina or higher. Instead, I suggest the same link be added twice as "purchase for download" and "streaming page" similar to what is already done for Bandcamp URLs.
