The translations, versions, and medleys of All You Need is Love take up a lot of space and provide no information relevant to that particular release/track. I think any work relationships that wouldn't transfer to specific recordings of that work should be hidden on the release page, where they create an incredible amount of visual clutter. (I don't see any need to hide it on the recording page, where it wouldn't be interfering so much with the important info, and you'd generally only have it for one work at a time.)

[MBS-9419] Don't show versions, medleys, etc for a work on the release page

The implementation removes from the display the following, in addition to the work parts already hidden: medleys including the work, generic "later versions" of the work, works based on the work, revisions of the work, orchestrations of the work and arrangements of the work. For a before-and-after, see:

I agree the clutter isn't as much of an issue on the recording page, but I think there's value to keeping the display consistent between release and recording. One click more would get you to the work page if you want the full detail.

I've had similar experiences with work relationships taking up way too much space on release pages. For example, fan arrangement albums based on the Touhou franchise generate a lot of relationships to the original compositions used in the games and if you use those original works in the releases, the pages are stretched to high heavens. I also don't consider that the based on / arrangements relationships to have much benefit with the current release.
