Different people want different "data" readily available and I think menus etc. would quickly clutter up if we just start adding whatever people need. Having something similar to Jira's filters would be great though. At the very basic, the ability to store a given (edit) search as a link in the "My Data" dropdown menu, but maybe potentially in the future being able to find and adopt others' saved searches.
