      Can we install the plugin from https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/jira.plugin.syntaxhighlighter.macro.syntaxplugin/server/overview in order to add support for code formatting for python (which is used by Picard)?

          Python (and more) syntax highlighting has been integrated in Jira 7.5:

          As of now MetaBrainz uses Jira 8.0.3. Closing as fixed.

          Because sometimes if you are reporting a bug and you know the cause, you want to quote some code.
