      Chhavi summed it up as such:

      We basically want a different workflow for all the "Design" tickets. (Please name them Design and not UX, design will keep it open for all kinds of issues that we might face)

      Workflow

      Needs Decision: When someone opens up a ticket or when someone just wants a design opinion on what they are doing. Or when they don't know what to label/workflow a ticket
      Needs Mockup:
      Needs Mockup Review: Once we have a mockup, community feedback on it
      Needs Templating changes: If the tickets require just some front-end changes. Additional design support like logo, icons, fonts
      Needs Server code changes

      Labels
      UX: the user flow isn't good
      UI: the user flow makes sense, interface needs work
      Branding: for social media, presentations and other outreach work

          has been implemented. It deviates a bit from Chhavi's proposal, but I feel this makes more sense. Do let me know if any tweaks are warranted. I'll leave it as "in beta testing" for now and once it's been live for a while and if no one has complained too much about too many things, I'll close this ticket and new tickets can be created for issues as they pop up.
