Original: Python 2 EOL date is set to January 1, 2020, see the [Python developer's guide](https://github.com/python/devguide/pull/344) and this [countdown](https://pythonclock.org/). [Python bindings for the MusicBrainz XML Metadata RELAX NG schema](https://github.com/metabrainz/mb-rngpy) only support Python 2 for now.
