v2.1.3 crashes when selecting Preferences in the Apple menu 10.14.5

      MacBook Air (early 2014), macOS 10.14.5 Mojave, newly installed Picard v2.1.3

      After replacing a legacy version of Picard (1.4?) with the latest v2.1.3 I noticed that it would crash when trying to select “About Picard” or “Preferences” from the Picard menu. “Check for updates”, “Hide Others”, “Hide Picard”, and “Show All” do work.
