I make a lot of changes to my scripts, and having to open the options and click on scripting each time is a pain. While the editor in Picard does at least do syntax highlighting, I'd prefer to use my existing programming environment to edit these scripts, but because they're embedded into the picard.ini file, this means doing the options route again and copying/pasting. Ideally, Picard could mark a script as being from an external file, and I'd just edit that.
A step along the way could be to make the script editor separate from the options dialog, so that I can keep the window open while reloading releases to see the effects.
