I see the message "Error loading collections: Network access is disabled" in the status bar of MusicBrainz Picard on start up when connected to a VPN service (NordVPN).
No functionality which requires network access such as looking up and downloading album data works.
Error log on startup is as follows:
E: 17:39:18,592 webservice._handle_reply:396: Network request error for https://picard.musicbrainz.org:443/api/v2/releases: Network access is disabled. Picard works fine when VPN is not connected.
Other applications are able to perform network functions while connected to VPN service.
Is Picard using an unusual method to connect to its web services?
