WIn 7 SP1 x64; i7 @ 2.50 GHz; 16 GB RAM; Local 1TB Hard Drive with 800 GB free. Only using local hard drive. NIC 10/100/1000; Current download speed is 157.2 Mbps up 12.2 Mbps. Running Trend Micro Antivirus software.
After upgrading to version 2.3.2 the file fpcalc.exe consistently crashes (notice via messagebox). My understanding is this is used to help identify the Acoustic ID. When it occurs I will receive 2 messageboxes concerning the crash.
I have not noticed any adverse effect of just closing the messageboxes and to continue to use Picard without restarting it.
I did go out to the source site and downloaded the latest public release build of fpcalc.exe and have renamed/replaced the one that is installed with the latest installation. Since doing this I have not seen a crash of the fpcalc.exe application. I was warned that the one that I was moving over was an older date and smaller file size.
