Trying to tag this track: https://beta.musicbrainz.org/recording/49834b29-7087-4a4f-bf09-0ab532b48f11

Picard doesn't capture remixer, work, etc. The only thing it tags besides artist and title are MBIDs for recording and artist.

Thank you! Glad it wasn't too hard to figure out. And sorry for being impatient and adding the release too soon.

This is one of the odd cases where you wonder why nobody noticed this before Anyway, we should have this fixed in the next release. Thanks a lot for reporting and for the patience

Yes, I can reproduce the issue now. Very strange indeed, I'll investigate.

Well, added that release since I started this ticket, so maybe it's not reproducible with that one anymore. I probably have another one where it is, I'll check and get back to you.

I can't reproduce this at all. When I use lookup on the file it loads this release:

          https://musicbrainz.org/release/32fc6c96-76f8-404a-bd97-a6404d44fdc4

And work, writer and remixer are all set. Can you list the plugins you are using?

I can upload my copy if you need me to, but it's the same one you can download here: http://aesthetic-perfection.net/lady-gaga-lovegame-remix/

I tried turning off the scripts and at first I thought it worked, but then it got weird. Whether I have scripts on or not, the problem occurs if and only if I use "Lookup" to load the recording. If it's loaded automatically based on MBID, everything shows up correctly. If I use Scan, everything shows up correctly. But even if the track has already been tagged with MBID, if I move it to the left, remove the recording on the right, and use Lookup again, it actually wants to remove Work, Remixer, Work ID, etc. If I then use refresh, it's correct again.
