Picard allows copy and pasting metadata values with Ctrl+C / Ctrl+V. But in the past this was a local clipboard only. It is not possible to paste a text value from the system clipboard (e.g. copied in another application) or have values copied in the metadata box available in the system clipboard.

Integrate the metadatabox clipboard with system text clipboard, but maintain the ability to directly copy list values inside Picard.
