What I see:

• Often (but not always), when I hit Quit (Command-Q), the window closes but the program does not fully quit.
• The MB Picard icon in the dock still has the "dot" under it, and when I click the icon, I see the app is "Application Not Responding".   
• I have to force-quit the app.

What I expect to see:

• Application fully quits when I hit Command-Q
