      from http://bugs.musicbrainz.org/ticket/1749

For example, lets say I accidentally drag a folder with 3000 mp3s to the 'New Files' as opposed to a folder with 20 files, which I actually meant to drag in. These 3000 files will take quite a while to process, especially if puid scan is on by default. Lots of time wasting in a simple mistake. Buttons for pausing and stopping the processing would be nice. Right now the only way to stop it is to shutdown the application.

Pause would of course pause the processing of new files, and stop would stop, and remove the unscanned from the *New Files' folder.

The example is mainly for completely stopping, but I'm sure option to pause would also be useful. Maybe someone would temporarily want full cpu cycles and HD spins in some other programs disposal.

Stop option would atleast be very nice.
